back to generating.

When a system stops generating or underperforms, we find the cause first, then repair it: fault finding, string repairs, inverter replacement and emergency call-outs, whoever installed the system.

01. Fault response & repairs

When something stops,
we find out why.

We provide practical support when faults, failures or damage occur. Every repair starts with diagnosis, on site and through monitoring data, so the right part of the system is fixed.

We repair damaged or underperforming strings, connectors and cabling, and replace failed or end-of-life inverters like-for-like or with an upgraded unit, then recommission the system.

Emergency call-outs are part of the service for faults that stop the system generating or need urgent attention. We don’t publish fixed response times; we agree response arrangements with you for your asset.

Fault and repair

Still have a question?0330 043 1047
How quickly can you respond to a fault?

We don’t publish fixed response times. Emergency call-outs are part of our fault response and repairs service, and we agree response arrangements with you for your asset.

Do you repair systems installed by other companies?

Yes. We provide O&M for solar PV systems of all sizes, whoever originally installed them. We record the condition of the system before any work begins.

How do I know my system has a fault?

Common signs are a blank inverter display, a fault or error code, monitoring showing little or no generation in daylight, or generation well below what you would expect for the time of year. If you are unsure, tell us what you are seeing and we will advise on the next step.

What information should I have ready?

The system size, who installed it, the inverter make and model if you know it, and what the inverter display or monitoring is showing.

Is it safe to leave a faulty system?

If you can see damage, burning or exposed cabling, keep away from the equipment and contact us. Panels generate whenever there is daylight, so parts of a system can remain live even when the inverter is off.

Can you replace an inverter from a different manufacturer?

Inverter replacement is one of our O&M services. We check compatibility with your existing equipment for each system rather than assuming it.

Is storm or fire damage covered here?

Damage from storms, fire, impact or water is handled through our insurance repair works service.

Find the fault,
fix it properly.

Fault finding, string repairs, inverter replacement and emergency call-outs for solar systems of every size.
