Solar panel maintenance,
scheduled and reported.

Planned servicing catches small problems before they turn into lost generation or a safety issue. Every visit includes inspection, thermal imaging, electrical testing and a written report, for systems we installed and systems installed by others.

01. Planned maintenance

Preventative care
keeps an asset earning.

Regular visits catch small problems before they turn into lost generation or a safety issue, and give you a written record of the asset’s condition.

Visits happen at a frequency agreed for your asset. The array, mounting, cabling, inverters, isolators and enclosures are checked and photographed, thermal surveys look for heat patterns that point to components needing attention, and we test the DC and AC sides of the system.

We look after commercial rooftops, agricultural sites, schools, warehouses, large-scale solar and existing installations on homes and businesses, whoever fitted them.

02. What’s included

Four checks,
one visit.

Preventative scheduled inspections

Planned visits at a frequency agreed for your asset, with the array, mounting, cabling, inverters, isolators and enclosures checked and photographed.

Thermal imaging

Thermal surveys of panels and connections reveal heat patterns that point to cells, connectors or components needing attention.

Electrical testing

We test the DC and AC sides of the system and compare the results with the previous visit.

Performance reporting

A report after every visit covering condition, findings, recommended actions and how the system is performing against expectations.

03. How a visit works

Inspect, test,
report.

Step 01

Scheduled inspection

The array, mounting, cabling, inverters, isolators and enclosures are checked and photographed.

Step 02

Thermal imaging & testing

Thermal surveys and DC and AC testing in the same visit.

Step 03

Performance report

Condition, findings and recommended actions, in writing.

Follow-up

Repairs, cleaning or monitoring arranged where the report recommends them.

05. O&M enquiry

Make an
O&M enquiry.

Tell us about the system: its size, who installed it and any known faults. We’ll come back to you with the right O&M services for it.

  • Estimated system size
  • Estimated bill savings
  • Carbon reduction estimate
  • Indicative payback

What does a maintenance visit include?

An inspection of the panels, mounting, cabling, inverters, isolators and enclosures, thermal imaging of panels and connections, testing of the DC and AC sides, and a written report covering condition, findings and recommended actions.

How often should solar panels be serviced?

It depends on the size, type and location of the system. We agree a visit frequency for your asset, and monitoring between visits shows whether anything needs attention sooner.

Do you maintain systems installed by other companies?

Yes. We provide O&M for solar PV systems of all sizes, whoever originally installed them. We record the condition of the system before any work begins.

How do I know my system is underperforming?

Warning signs include an inverter fault or error message and lower generation than you would expect for the time of year. Our electrical testing compares results with the previous visit, and monitoring compares actual generation with expected output.

Is solar panel cleaning worth it?

Soiling reduces the light reaching the cells, so heavily soiled panels generate less. The inspection shows whether soiling is affecting your system, and cleaning can be added to the same visit if it is.

Can cleaning be done on the same visit?

Yes. Mechanical cleaning can be scheduled on its own or combined with an inspection visit.

What happens if a visit finds a fault?

The report sets out recommended actions, and fault finding and repairs are part of our fault response service.

Small checks now,
fewer faults later.
