Once the foundations are in, we install the steel canopy and the solar array on top. The solar PV system is installed and commissioned by our MCS-certified in-house team, then tested and handed over with full documentation.

A solar carport gets more out of a car park you already have. It generates electricity on site for your buildings, needs no roof space and shelters the vehicles and people underneath.
The steel canopy is installed on the completed foundations, then the solar panels are mounted on top and connected back to the site supply through the ducting laid during the groundworks. The solar installation is carried out and commissioned by our MCS-certified in-house team, working to a programme agreed around how your car park is used.
Because the electricity is generated where vehicles park, the system can feed battery storage and EV charge points as part of the same installation, depending on the scope of your project. Everything is tested and commissioned together before handover.

Who installs the solar array?
Our MCS-certified in-house team installs and commissions every array.
Can the array power EV chargers?
Yes. Charge points can be integrated with the canopy array and the site supply, and with battery storage where project scope includes it.
Can the car park stay open during installation?
Depending on the layout and scope, the works can be phased so parts of the car park stay in use. We agree the phasing with you before work starts.
Who installs the steel canopy?
The steel canopy is installed on the completed foundations as part of our single programme, so one contractor is responsible for the structure and the solar PV system on top.
What accreditations does your team hold?
We are an MCS-certified installer and NICEIC approved contractor, and our solar installers are part of our own in-house UK team.
What happens at handover?
The completed system is tested and commissioned before handover, with documentation.
Who maintains it afterwards?
Our Operations & Maintenance division can look after the structure, the array, the storage and the chargers.
