Lower electricity bills
Generate your own daytime electricity and buy less from your supplier at price-cap rates.
Your quote models your likely savings from your own usage.Solar PV for pitched roofs, flat roofs and ground-mounted systems. Our own MCS-certified UK team designs, installs and supports every system, from a 4 kWp Leicestershire home to a 500 kWp commercial rooftop.
Every Synergy Power solar PV system is designed for your roof pitch, orientation, electricity use and long-term plans, not taken from a catalogue. From a family home in Loughborough to a large ground-mounted system, the approach is the same: design for the site, installation by our own team and aftercare afterwards.
We use panels from Tier 1 manufacturers and match the inverter and mounting system to your roof type and any shading. Every installation is MCS-certified, so you are eligible for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments, and you are covered by the RECC consumer code throughout.
Every proposal includes a 25-year cashflow model rather than a headline payback figure. Our design team builds it from current UK unit rates, expected SEG income and realistic assumptions about panel performance over time.
Solar panels work well in UK daylight. A well-designed 4 kWp system in the Midlands can generate around 3,600 kWh a year, a useful share of what a typical home uses each year.

Your quote models your likely savings from your own usage.Get paid for surplus electricity you export under the Smart Export Guarantee. An MCS-certified installation makes you eligible.
Earn from every exported kWh; rates vary by supplier.MCS-certified solar can improve your home’s EPC rating, which buyers increasingly look at.
Lower running costs are a selling point for buyers.Businesses reduce indirect emissions and receive MCS documentation to support ESG reporting.
A 100 kWp array offsets ~22 tonnes CO₂ per year. From a single home to a portfolio of public buildings, the same in-house team designs, installs and supports the work.
3-12 kWp solar panel systems for UK homes, with the option to add battery storage and EV charging.
10-500 kWp rooftop arrays for offices, factories, warehouses and retail parks.
Multi-plot installation programmes for housebuilders, compliant with Part L and the Future Homes Standard.
Diagnosis and repair for underperforming or damaged systems, including those installed by other companies.
A solar PV system is more than panels on a roof. This is what goes into a properly completed MCS installation.

Monocrystalline panels from Aiko, Jinko or Longi, chosen for their performance in UK conditions.
Roof-integrated GSE for new-build, K2 rail-on-slate for retrofit and ballasted flat-roof kits for commercial sites.
Solis, Tesla, Sigenergy or SolarEdge, chosen to suit your roof, your battery plans and the size of your system.
DC/AC isolators, surge protection, RCBO or Type A RCD in your consumer unit, wired to BS 7671.
Generation monitoring through a web portal and app, plus the MCS certificate you need to apply for the Smart Export Guarantee with your chosen supplier.
The technology is much the same. What it does for you depends on the type of property.
Roof systems sized to your household, with a payback estimate in your quote and less exposure to rises in the Ofgem price cap.
50-500 kWp rooftop arrays that offset daytime demand, reduce Scope 2 emissions and reduce exposure to wholesale prices.
Multi-plot installs that meet the Part L 2021 uplift and Future Homes Standard for housebuilders and RSLs.
Estate-wide solar PV programmes that support measurable progress against council Net Zero targets.

“A very professional and efficient organisation. The fitting schedule agreed when the quote was accepted was kept, and general workmanship was excellent, carried out by people who were polite, friendly and efficient. No complaints. I would recommend them to anyone considering a PV installation.”Donald, Birmingham · Solar PV installation, via Solar Guide

Still have a question?0330 043 1047Every system is designed around the property, so the cost depends on roof size, system size, whether you add a battery and the equipment you choose. Commercial systems are priced after a feasibility study of the site and its energy data. Your quotation is fixed-price after a free site survey, with no variations mid-project.
The Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) means licensed electricity suppliers pay you for the electricity you export. Payments are based on metered export, each supplier sets its own rate, and systems up to 50 kW need MCS certification to qualify. Every system we install is MCS-certified. Rates vary by supplier and change over time, so we help you compare the options.
Solar PV installed in homes in Great Britain is currently zero-rated for VAT under HMRC's energy-saving materials relief, until 31 March 2027. Commercial installations are standard-rated.
Home installations are typically completed in 1-3 days on site. Larger commercial and multi-plot programmes take from two weeks to two months on site, depending on scale, scaffolding and DNO connection lead times.
Yes. Smaller systems, up to about 3.68 kW single-phase (16 A per phase), are usually connected and then notified to the DNO under G98. Larger systems need a G99 application approved by the network operator before connection. We confirm which applies at design stage and manage the paperwork with your local DNO, such as National Grid Electricity Distribution, UK Power Networks or Northern Powergrid.
Panels carry a manufacturer performance warranty, and inverter warranties vary by brand, plus our own workmanship guarantee. We confirm the exact terms for your equipment in your quotation.
That need not rule solar out. East-west systems spread generation more evenly across the day, which suits homes with a battery. North-east or north-west roofs can also work with the right inverter and battery combination, and we model this at survey.
They should not. K2 and GSE mounting systems are designed for standard slate, tile and metal roofs without compromising weatherproofing. Our roofing team inspects the roof and flags any structural concerns before we quote.
Most rooftop solar on houses is permitted development, so planning permission is not usually needed. Listed buildings, conservation areas and some flat-roof or ground-mounted systems may need consent, and we advise on this at survey.
Yes. A battery can usually be added to an existing solar system later. We check compatibility with your inverter at survey and can design the system now so storage is straightforward to add.
Yes. A smart charger with a solar-diversion mode sends surplus generation to your car instead of exporting it. We can install one with your panels or add it later.
