Origins: 2012
Synergy Power Ltd was incorporated on 4 July 2012, with its registered office at Friars House, Manor House Drive, Coventry. The business was set up as an engineering-led installer, where design decisions, installation and commissioning are all handled by the same in-house team.
Coventry remains our Midlands headquarters. Since then the business has grown from domestic solar PV into commercial, public-sector, battery storage and EV charging work, supported by offices in Leeds and London.
Accreditation and standards
MCS certification matters to our customers. An MCS-certified installation is needed to apply for Smart Export Guarantee payments from an SEG licensee, so you can be paid for the electricity you export as well as using less from the grid.
Alongside MCS we hold NICEIC, RECC, NAPIT, TrustMark, CHAS, Constructionline (Silver), Approved Code, Acclaim and OZEV approvals, and we are a Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer. Together they support our work for public-sector clients, developers and businesses as well as homeowners.
Growth: 2020 to 2024
In 2020 we began a six-year programme for Integral Memory PLC, covering 416 panels, six Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries and four EV charging ports across sites in London NW10 and Calverton. From 2021 to 2024 we installed rooftop solar PV on Dock 2, 3 and 4 at Exploration Drive, Leicester: 28.5, 66 and 73 kWp.
In March 2023 we completed a 110 kWp system for Leeds City Council at Little Owls Nursery, Chapeltown. In April 2024 we followed it with 200 kW on the Grafton Building at Brooksby College, Melton Mowbray. Our engineers, electricians and roofers are directly employed by Synergy Power.
Today: 2026
Today we design, install and maintain solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, air source heat pumps, solar carports and roofing for homes, businesses, developers and local authorities across England. In 2025 that included home solar and battery systems in Leicester, Kenilworth and Daventry. What we offer is our accreditations, our team and our aftercare: the same people from your first survey to the day your system goes live, and our maintenance service after that.
