Main rooftop system

In March 2025 we completed a 131 kWp main solar PV system and a 30 kWp solar carport phase at the Leeds Council Taxi Licensing Depot on York Road, Leeds.
At the Leeds Council Taxi Licensing Depot, 225 York Road, we delivered solar PV in two parts: a 131 kWp main system on the depot roof and a 30 kWp carport phase, completed in March 2025.
The main system uses 296 Trina 445 W panels with a 100 kW Solis inverter, and the carport phase uses 60 Trina 505 W panels.
The project combined a large rooftop array with a solar carport, so the depot generates electricity from both its building and its parking area.

From the main rooftop array to the solar carport phase, this project shows how a working council depot can generate its own electricity from both its roof and its parking.
