Local Authorities
Estate-wide solar, storage, carports and EV charging for councils and combined authorities, documented for cabinet reporting.
Local authoritiesFeasibility studies, design, procurement support, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance for local authorities, education, healthcare and housing associations. One in-house team that understands funding windows, mobilises quickly and stays accountable for the asset long after handover.
This page is for estates managers, sustainability leads, heads of property and finance officers in the public sector. You have a decarbonisation target to hit, a funding window to spend within and a duty to evidence every step. Those three pressures shape everything we do on a public sector project.
We take projects from the first feasibility study to long-term maintenance. We produce the figures your funding application needs, design the system, support procurement with the documentation your route requires, install around the site’s working day, commission and hand over, then maintain the asset for its full life.
Because engineering, roofing and maintenance are all in-house, one contractor is accountable for the whole programme. That holds for a single school roof and for a multi-site solar carport and battery storage scheme delivered against a grant deadline.
Each has its own page, with the detail that matters to that estate.
Estate-wide solar, storage, carports and EV charging for councils and combined authorities, documented for cabinet reporting.
Local authoritiesSchools, academy trusts, colleges and universities, with installation planned around term time and pupil engagement built in.
EducationNHS trusts, GP surgeries and care estates, designed for continuity of care and resilience.
HealthcareProgramme-managed retrofit across social housing stock with resident engagement built in.
Housing associationsPublic sector renewable projects rarely stall on engineering. They stall on time, evidence and capacity.
Funding often arrives late in the year with a hard completion date. We plan every programme backwards from that date.
Funding deadline awarenessCompetitive rounds expect credible system sizes, savings, carbon and cost figures. Our feasibility study provides exactly that.
Application-ready figuresFrameworks, compliant quotes and direct awards each need documentation. We supply it early so procurement doesn't eat into the window.
Procurement supportFunded programmes need dependable delivery. Our engineers, electricians and roofers are in-house, and we schedule them ourselves.
Fast mobilisationProgrammes, criteria and deadlines change from year to year. These are the funding areas we have experience of supporting, and we confirm what is open to your organisation as part of every feasibility study.

We turn site data and electricity bills into an estimated system size, savings forecast, carbon reduction estimate and indicative ROI, the figures an application and a business case need.
Structural, roof and electrical surveys, system design across solar, storage, carports and EV charging, and the DNO application, which can take time.
Accreditation, insurance, health and safety and policy documentation for frameworks, compliant quotations and direct awards, supplied before tender.
RAMS-led delivery by our own engineers, electricians and roofers, sequenced around the working day, term dates or clinical activity.
Testing, MCS documentation, DNO confirmation, monitoring set-up and a handover pack ready for your asset register and funder return.
Monitoring, planned maintenance, fault response, cleaning and insurance repair works for the life of the asset.

Long-term supportShare your site list, deadline and electricity bills. A UK engineer will model the right mix of solar, storage, carports and EV charging and give you the figures your funding application needs.
Yes. We provide the accreditation, insurance, health and safety and policy documentation your route requires, whether that is a framework call-off, a compliant quotation process or a direct award.
Yes. Our feasibility study produces the system size, savings, carbon and cost figures an application needs, and we support the evidence and delivery programme behind it. Programmes change, so rather than promise what's available, we confirm what is open to your organisation.
We plan the programme backwards from the deadline and run surveys, design, DNO applications and procurement documentation in parallel. If a date isn't realistic, we'll tell you early.
Yes. Our installations are RAMS-led and sequenced around the working day, term dates or clinical activity, with our staff inducted and checked as the site requires.
MCS certificates, electrical test certificates, DNO confirmation, as-built information, monitoring access and an operations and maintenance plan, ready for your asset register and funder return.
Many rooftop systems on non-domestic buildings can be installed under permitted development, subject to conditions. Listed buildings, conservation areas, ground-mounted systems and solar carports may need consent. We check at survey and prepare the drawings for any application.
We are MCS certified and NICEIC approved, members of RECC and TrustMark, and hold CHAS and Constructionline (Silver). Certificates, insurances and policies are supplied with your procurement documentation.
